BABY WE GOT IT!!!

YEEEAAAAH!! Ready to hit the road!!!!
Proudly anouncing: it is a boy. DAN THE VAN named after his former owner (who before called in Clive after its former owner who before... :-) is a beautiful blue mazda campervan, born 1988 (acually one year older than human Dan, who was born in England, grew up in Spain, then in the States, and tomorrow is returning to Dubai where he now lives) and got everything we wanted: a pop top (even for Holger pleasant to stand in), a big bed that can be turned into a sofa with two seats (WITH seatbelts!! everyone come around for a ride!!!) and a table, a fridge (3 way, runs on gas!) lots of cupboards, drawers and storage room and a two ring gas stove with even a grill underneath! We took it to the garage and apart from some minor issues (like a 'ripped seat' -- it's a tiny rip, certainly not doing anyting to the security!) that Queensland wouldn't let you have to get it registered, it luckily has Western Australian Plates (and is registered and insured until June 2010) so it doesn't need these very strict rules, but, and that is the most important thing: the mechanic told us that we are not going to get stuck or break down with our DAN just like that. Enginge, gears and everyting alright!!
Unfortunately I can't post the pictures I just took here in our hostel - but they'll follow very soon! But for now, it's cleaning Dan up, then shopping and then - HIT THE ROAD!!
Got fed up with hostels. Get away!!!!
