All good things come to an end.

In two days we are flying back home to Germany!

Two and a half years of travelling have finally come to an end... at least for now! We had a fantastic time travelling around Australia for two years, Cambodia for one month, Thailand for two and Vietnam for three month! In total I worked for 12 of the 30 month, but who'd call that work... We're looking forward to seeing all our friends and family again and my hometown of Munich (and beergarden season just coming up! :-) but how long and IF we stay... isn't completely sure yet. So much to see yet! So many more places to go!
Maybe we could inspire YOU to visit one or two of the places we posted beautiful pictures of. We had a fabulous time taking them.

Tomorrow back to Hanoi and on Wednesday we're flying with Etihad to Bangkok, where we've got 11 hours to have a few drinks (and roasted duck in our favourite street stall and sticky rice with mango!!) on infamous Khao San Road again, and then on to Abu Dhabi, where we have 14 hours of daytime to look at the city! A certainly exhausting but definitely exciting and somehow fitting end to our time of travel.

And we've got sooooo much luggage... just bought some more souvenirs and hope that Etihad will be merciful.
But our greatest treasure are our memories - and all of those wonderful pictures we took.

Here are some pictures I still felt like sharing - some really interesting faces of Vietnam!

Captain of a village of minority people near Dalat - the only man I ever dared to ask for a portrait.

Then I tried to take a portrait from all the interesting old women I bought souvenirs from.

 In Hoi An.
